For many years everyone has focused on the questions: Where does life come from?Where do we go after death? But very few pay attention to the heart that beats on its own.Why does it beat without ever resting? Why can a person not control how fast or slow it goes? And why does a person die once it stops? These are questions worth exploring! After in-depth research, it was found that the heartbeat is actually caused by the periodic peristalsis of the small intestine. In traditional Chinese medicine, too, the heart and small intestine are known to be a unit: if there is something wrong with the small intestine, the heart will certainly react abnormally, because the small intestine supplies energy to the heart, just as the liver and gallbladder, and the large intestine and stomach, are closely related. At the same time, the small intestine lies right near the dantian, and the small intestine is an important organ responsible for storing qi, while the heart is the seat of the principal-soul.As said before, the principal-soul, life-soul and awareness-soul support one another with spiritual power: the life-soul is below the small intestine (root chakra), the principal-soul is in the heart (heart chakra), and the awareness-soul is in the back of the brain. Therefore, a person whose heart is healthy but whose awareness-soul is damaged can still live, as in the case of vegetative patients or those with intellectual disability. When a person eats grains, it only replenishes nutrition, and once digestion is complete one must continually absorb nutrients again.Soul-light is the same: the soul-light spent each day is far more than the amount the body's five-element operation produces, so it too needs replenishing. But people tend to pay attention only to what they can see and feel, not knowing that their own soul-light is gradually decreasing. This is why some people age fast and some age slowly. There is another saying that describes people: "Humans are creatures of inertia; they only pay attention to their bodies when pain strikes."

🏯 Extended · Five-Element Stupa

Rinpoche emphasizes repeatedly: to end the cycle of samsara, harmonize the magnetic field, and purify karmic creditors, the most direct method is offering a Five-Element Stupa. Combined with ritual dedication and mantra practice, it progressively elevates one's soul-light. Fahsilin's altar has actual Five-Element Stupas available for request.
