To the Buddhas the human world is a dream; from the human world the Buddhas' realm looks unreal
Our soul is locked inside the body.We only have the body's functions — we cannot reach any function outside the body.So our spiritual nature is sealed off, shut inside the flesh, like a person inside a house who can only see the world through the window.
One day, when the limits of our body are opened and we step outside, we will realize there is a vast world beyond this body.Only then will we understand that the human world is itself an illusion, a journey.
People who do not believe in the Buddhadharma are like people who lock themselves inside and can never get out.One day someone opens the door, and only then do they realize other worlds exist — just as when we die one day and walk out of this world, we discover there are deities, Buddhas, the spirit realms, multiple worlds.
So the perception of the flesh is the prison of the spirit.Opening the mind's eye, or opening the heavenly eye, is opening a door for this world. Our regular practice, or the Master giving us empowerment, is opening the door for you, rescuing you from the house — only then will you discover the world is not what you thought.
Matter perceiving matter — this is the thinking of the three-dimensional world (the first through fifth consciousnesses).
Matter perceiving energy — this is the thinking of the four-dimensional world (the sixth consciousness).
Mind perceiving matter — this is the thinking of the five-dimensional world (the seventh consciousness).
Mind perceiving energy — this is the thinking of the six-dimensional world (the eighth consciousness).
Mind perceiving mind — this is the thinking of the seven-dimensional world (the ninth consciousness).
Note: 1.eye-consciousness, 2.ear-consciousness, 3.nose-consciousness, 4.tongue-consciousness, 5.body-consciousness, 6.mind-consciousness, 7.manas-consciousness, 8.ālaya-consciousness, 9.amala-consciousness.
When you reach the ninth consciousness, you have already walked out of the prison of the flesh.
You need a true teacher to guide the disciple out of the dream and attain the dharmakāya.
